All open volunteer opportunities are listed above. If you are planning to volunteer during the school day, the following is required:

Visit the page, Volunteering at Seattle Public Schools, and complete the required to-do list links. This is an annual requirement.

Seattle Public School Volunteering Checklist: Please complete these tasks first:

Background check (WATCH) Screening Form
Volunteer handbook Pages 18 and 19: Safety and Liability Issues, Working with Children of Diverse Backgrounds, and Confidentiality
Adult Sexual Misconduct Prevention - online Course

Read all materials thoroughly, watch the video and submit the online confirmation of having watched it, complete and print the volunteer application and background check form, and mail them to:

If you plan to attend a field trip as a chaperone, please also complete this required form and return it to the school

Volunteer badges are available at the front desk in the main office at school. To obtain your badge, you must return all of the required paperwork and present photo identification.
